You can join Gilmorton History Group and enjoy discovering the interesting history of Gilmorton village and surrounding areas.

We would love to have you onboard! .

We run five themed events a year which are usually run on a Tuesday evening and again on the following Wednesday morning.

(This tends to suit both the elderly and the younger working residents.)

Events may consist of a range of static displays, videos, guest speakers and artifacts covering the chosen theme.

Contributions are encouraged from local residents and these play a vital role in the displays and the whole event.

Events are advertised in the local village newsletter, posters around the village, Swift Flash, Spotted Gilmorton, here on our Website and by members newsletters.

Membership is currently £10 for a year and this will entitle members to free entry to all regular events for 1 year (including free refreshments) a monthly newsletter, early notification of special events / social activities and first chance at ticketed events.

Members family and friends are always welcome but a £3 entry fee applies to non members.

We pride ourselves on the social aspect of our events with many new friendships being made and old acquaintances  being rekindled.
